Thesis Meet-Ups

About to start writing your master’s thesis? In need of sparring and camaraderie? Fret not, ETHOS Lab has you covered in the form of the “Thesis Meet-Ups”.

See this page for Thesis Meetup Plan:

The ‘Thesis Meet-Ups’ are bi-monthly sessions coordinated by students with association to ETHOS Lab, who are writing their thesis. The purpose of the meet-ups is to provide a supportive environment of peer-to-peer sparing about the thesis writing process. In addition to this researchers from the lab’s research group will appear when available to talk about relevant themes to the thesis process.

The group will meet two times each month from September to December for about one and a half hour. Each meeting will begin with a talk from a researcher or a former thesis student, on a predefined topic such as: How to write a problem statement/Research questions, Literature search/review, theory & methodology. After the talk you will have the opportunity to discuss your own thesis, and to get inspiration from the other thesis students.

If you are writing your thesis at the ITU, and your project or your supervisor is connected to ETHOS Lab, you are very welcome to join the group. You can indicate your interest and get invited to the events by writing to junior researcher Bastian Jørgensen or to lab manager Michael Hockenhull.
