How to Apply for an Industrial PhD

Are you thinking about if an industrial PhD could be something for you?

On the 24th of August 14.00-16.00, ETHOS Lab is hosting an event on the journey of an industrial PhD, were we will give space for experiences and tips on how to apply and work with a project partner. We will have three guests speakers presenting bringing in their different experiences and knowledge and there will be time for questions.

If you are considering applying for an Industrial PhD, this event is for you!

Program:

• 14.00-14.45: Research Consultant at ITU, Lisbeth Breinholt, will talk about the formal aspects regarding applying for an Industrial PhD.
• 14.45-15.00: We will have a short break.
• 15.00-15.30: PhD and Lead Anthropologist, Mette Marie Vad Karsten, will present her experiences with working with The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Control.
• 15.30-16.00: Post.Doc at ITU, Sunniva Sandbukt, will present her experiences with finding a project partner and carrying out an Industrial PhD.
