A final spring semester talk and summer upcoming

In this last month of the spring semester 2018, ETHOS Lab is hosting a exciting talk by Orit Halpern on June 11, as well as a workshop on June 12.

Like most of ITU, ETHOS Lab will take a summer slumber throughout July and return with more talks, workshops and events next semester.

Teaching: publicETHOS #28 by Orit Halpern

Research:

PhD opportunities digest

There is an opening for a Ph.D student in Technology and Social Change at Linköping University. The position is connected to the research programme 'ValueS'– “Science, technology and valuation practices”, and the specific research topic and empirical domains studied will be determined in collaboration with the PhD candidate. Read more about the position here. Deadline for application is Friday 22 June.

The Department of Science and Technology Studies at University of Vienna's Social Sciences faculty is looking for a University Assistant (or so-called "Pre-Doc") for a 4-year term of employment. The successful candidate can expect to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months. Read more by searching for "University Assistant (prae doc)
