SUMMARY:ETHOS is hosting a Master Thesis workshop
DESCRIPTION:  \nOn June 16th\, ETHOS Lab is hosting a Thesis Fest where you along with other MSc students have the possibility to reflect on previous master theses as well as workshop a section of your own thesis draft.\nPostdoc. Michael Hockenhull\, ETHOS Lab Manager Merethe R. Gjørding\, and Lab TA Casper Frohn will facilitate and provide perspectives on how to structure your work and argumentation. \nIf you have prolonged your master thesis\, this event is for you! \nPrior to the event\, you will receive a master thesis to glance through beforehand\, which will serve as a point of departure in group discussions. \nFor the event\, you should bring a section (max 4 pages) from your own thesis that you would like to workshop. It might be a section that is giving you some trouble\, and there are no requirements on how far you are with this section. \nIf the weather is good\, we’ll be outside by the canal next to ITU. If not\, we’ll gather indoors at ITU (room tba). Snacks are of course provided! \nProgram for the event: \n\n14-14.10 Intro\n14.10-14.50 Group reflections on the previous thesis (a worksheet will be provided\nBreak\n16.00-15.30 Workshop your own section\n15.30-16.00 Collective discussion on how to structure thesis writing\nIt is possible to hang out afterwards and stay with the reflections together\n\nSign up by writing to Lab TA Casper Frohn on cbfr@itu.dk by Friday June 12th at 12.00. If you miss the deadline\, write an email anyway and then we’ll see. \nWe hope to see you there and look forward to be in conversation with you!
