Watson Analytics is IBM’s cloud based business intelligence and analytics service – join two Watson Analytics workshops and become an expert in exploring and visualizing your data with the tool.
Watson Analytics is most famously known for being based off the computer program which defeated Jeopardy champion Ken Jennings. IBM has since developed the Watson software and now use it to offer everything from data-based oncology diagnostics to answering questions about social media stats. With Watson Analytics IBM aims to bring easy data analytics to business, students and organisations. Watson Analytics visualizes quantitative data, suggests questions you can ask and reveals patterns in your data.
To help you get started with Watson Analytics, ETHOS lab hosts 2 workshops in collaboration with IBM. With a great expertise in the tool, Morten Albrechtsen, Peter Stilling, and Kristine Falk Olsen from IBM Denmark have been invited to instruct in its use.
Workshop version 1.0: An introduction to the tool and the do and don’ts for creating a data set.
Workshop version 2.0:Hands-on practices with the tool. Bring your own data set and get professional help to explore and visualize your data. IBM will provide some preset data sets to use if you don’t have your own data.
